At CastleFix, we recently completed a small landscaping project that turned a huge flower bed into a low maintenance seating area: the patio.

Let’s be honest. No-one wants to move skip-loads of earth through their home. Use it as a foundation for something better.

Consider this

You enjoy hosting garden parties but have little time for wood care and nature has prevailed over the timber deck.
There must be a solution to otherwise re-building the deck and facing the same maintenance issues.
A fully-paved and pointed patio, designed and installed to provide a solid decorative feature and freedom to continue entertaining.

Here’s what we delivered:

• Excavate a sufficient trench to establish footings and a defined perimeter for a new patio
• Build up the plot with concrete and treated timber sleepers to contain the existing earth mound.
• Spread and level contained earth, lay strong weed membranes and sub-base to promote stability
• Lay concrete paving slabs, as selected by the customer, and point with mortar for long-term strength and reduce maintenance

Why does this matter?

Because gardens are important spaces for health and well-being.
Regular garden maintenance is not necessarily one’s highest priority.
Yet a patio provides the ideal outdoor space for leisure time.
