Hi, I’m James. I established CastleFix to professionally complete your repairs, renewals and improvements without stress or worry.

CastleFix strives to help in any way we can from straightforward handyman services to larger-scale transformations, both inside and outdoors.

The target is to achieve your vision and the functionality you desire in the most appropriate way. We approach any task or project in collaboration with our client to understand requirements, discuss any alternatives, establish convenient timelines, create designs, agree costs and materials, maintain progress and enjoy the result.

1. Every customer is my personal responsibility. I do not remain in an office, ‘conducting’ operatives from afar. I am always involved in:

• Attending the site and meeting clients;
• Understanding the task specification;
• Providing and agreeing designs and estimates;
• Procurement;
• Scheduling;
• Undertaking the improvement work, whether on- or off-site; and
• Job completion and after-care

2. Synergy. Many providers can “take something to a stage” before passing the baton onto the next trade. CastleFix is built on a professional foundation and multi-trade skillset to provide consultancy, design, build/repair, decoration and final finishing. This eliminates the need, as an example, for a separate designer, carpenter, glazier, painter and locksmith if you were wishing to renovate a door or window.

I love DIY and creativity

It has always been my passion to design and make; repair and improve. With a practical background and both professional and artistic experience, I am fortunate to do what I love everyday.  Following initial success with hands-on property renovation I decided to employ my wide-ranging skill set to provide the same excellent outcomes for others in and around London, Surrey and Sussex.

Known as a troubleshooter, my belief is in doing things properly. Sometimes it isn’t clear which specific trade can provide a full solution – that’s where CastleFix excels.

I am really fortunate to work with some excellent complementary trades. Where supplementary and/or regulated work is required as part of your project we call on their professional expertise to ensure that the job is completed correctly: all under CastleFix guidance.

Your home is your castle and we shall work on it in a tidy, safe and courteous manner.
